Heartland Residential Care provides Residential Habilitation Services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in an Individualized Supported Living (ISL) and Group Home Setting.
A Measure of Success
One of our more predominate successes is our reputation for working with individuals with challenging behaviors. We have a reputation for reducing the frequency and intensity of physical aggression with individuals we support. We train our staff in Tools of Choice which is part of our agency’s culture.
Heartland Residential Care supports individuals in all age ranges, all levels of functioning, and all levels of supports required to not only keep them safe and healthy, but to provide a Meaningful Life.
We believe individuals should not only get out into the community, but we encourage individuals to be part of their community. We encourage and assist individuals in reaching to obtain their hopes and dreams. We assist individuals to find employment, attend a Day Program, do volunteer work, join Special Olympics, or anything that will assist them to grow to their fullest potential.
The individuals homes are well-kept, comfortable and are adapted to the those who live there.
Heartland is proud to partner with Tri-County Mental Health Services, Inc. and provides staffing and multi-faceted supports to people in the Clustered Living and ICPR Apartment Programs.
